Chinese Calligraphy

I recently visited China for my honeymoon. Sarah and I spent three weeks travelling the country visiting many places including the city of Chengdu, where we spent an afternoon in People’s Park. Near the Railway Protection Movement Monument, we saw an old man practicing calligraphy. He was writing poetry on the pavement with a brush and water. Since this was a once in a lifetime trip, I made sure to shoot lots of film. These were shot on the FPP’s Derev Pan 200, a new black & white emulsion.
