Sarah & I spent a lovely day in People’s Park in Chengdu. We rowed a boat on the lake, had tea in the overcrowded seating area, watched an elderly man write poetry on the pavement in front of the Railway Protection Movement Monument, and visited the Wenshu Monastery.
Sarah & I wandered down this street one afternoon in Chengdu and we discovered a shop where you could have your name carved in Chinese characters onto a stamp. We thought it would make a great memento of our trip and we bought a matching pair of stamps. I took these photos while we waited.
