Last summer, I travelled extensively throughout Spain. While I had my Canon Rebel 2000 (and a dozen rolls of film) with me, I rarely used it opting instead for my DSLR. These are from a day trip to San Sebastián and were shot on Fuji Sensia which I then had cross-processed.
I shot these photos of The 427’s at the Lilac Festival in 2016. The 427’s are this really cool retro instrumental surf rock band and they are having an anniversary show this Friday. These were taken at the Calgary Zoo in the Prehistoric Park. The dinosaur exhibit is actually pretty big and on a perfect day, it’s a great place to snap photographs. I think the cross-processed Fuji Sensia 100 film gives the scene an ethereal, other-worldly look and feel that is just right for photos of dinosaurs.
