These photos are from Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) in Vietnam. While touring Vietnam, I had a day off to explore on my own and shoot some photographs. These photos feature the Independence Palace (aka Reunification Palace) and its front gate (where in 1975, a tank of the North Vietnamese Army bulldozed into it, thus ending the Vietnam War), the Saigon Central Post Office, and the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon. While outside the catherdral, a wedding party was getting ready. I managed to snap a few photos but I didn’t want to intrude on this important day for the happy couple.
