I took these shots of the Calgary Tower and the Epcor Centre from the Olympic Plaza in February 2014 using my Olympus Trip 35 loaded with a roll of Four Corner B&W 400 film. I’ve since decided that this film doesn’t give me the blacks that I want. I prefer darker blacks and greater contrast in my photos. These shots from my second roll are not as crisp as my first photos taken with Ilford Delta 100.
Foodie, oenophile, traveler, hockey player, teacher, husband & father. I am many things, but at my core, I am a writer and photographer. Give me a notebook, a camera and a pocketful of film and I’m happy. Going Lomo is where I share my love for film photography, because a photograph not shared, only speaks silence.
