Twenty years ago, I went back to university to get a second degree. These were taken on a field trip as part of a geology course I was taking at the time. From Vancouver, we drove up the coast on the Sea to Sky Highway and stopped along the way to look at rocks and rock formations. Since I didn’t own a camera at the time, I bought a Fuji QuickSnap single-use camera for the trip. It came pre-loaded with Fuji Superia 800 film.
Foodie, oenophile, traveler, hockey player, teacher, husband & father. I am many things, but at my core, I am a writer and photographer. Give me a notebook, a camera and a pocketful of film and I’m happy. Going Lomo is where I share my love for film photography, because a photograph not shared, only speaks silence.
