Downtown Photo Walk #3
I’ve decided that I quite like the way Dubblefilm Bubblegum 200 renders color. As the Dubblefilm website says, it’s “tinted with sweet tones” from a “pinkish vibe” to “deep magenta in the shadows”. It’s the subtlety of the tones that I appreciate. I don’t want a large color shift, just a pleasing warmth.

Inspired by Conspicari’s “Thursday Doors” posts on coronet66, I was delighted when I came across these doors on a recent trip to New Zealand. These doors — all from the same street in Napier — are far more interesting than the boring modern doors I often encounter on my photo walks here in Calgary.
