I shot these photos while exiting the Forbidden City. On my way out, I discovered a building where visitors could pick up their cigarette lighters which had been confiscated before entering the Forbidden City. Presumably, it isn’t enough to just say “no smoking”. Protecting this UNESCO World Heritage Site from mischief and rule breakers is also needed.
