
I shot these Luchadores at Mexifest on the original Harman Phoenix 200. Apart from the punchy contrast and saturated colors, this film struggles with skin tones. You won’t see it here because the images are too small, but up close, there is a lot of red splotchy grain on the skin, particularly in the shadows. Hopefully, this was fixed in the newer Harman Phoenix II 200, but I haven’t yet photographed any people up close with that film, so I’ll have to wait and see once I shoot another roll of it.
